Sage Integration
1. If customer does not have MS Access installed, the free MS Access Runtime can be used.
This can be installed by running ART2KMin.exe from the install CD or downloading from www.interactivereporting.com/v24

2. To configure the ODBC parameters for Sage Line 50, Open the template.mdb and enter the information into the System form.

You will need to enter the odbc_connection name for sage, and a Sage Username and Password. E.g SageLine50v11

3. Once the odbc parameters have been configured, you can run the batch import program sir_nightly.bat
This will import the data from sage, and create a new access database production.mdb with the clients data in it.

If access doesn't start when you run, you may need to edit the batch file sir_nightly, to have it point to the correct
directory where access is installed.

4. When you have confirmed, that the production.mdb has been corrected without error, you should be able to login
and start accessing the data

(Optional)
5. By Default, it will display Cust Analysis 1, Cust Analysis 2, Cust Analysis 3 for the sage custom analysis fields in
their customer table. This can be configured, from the IR Admin, and under mappings

6. By Default there are 2 mappings, for Sage Line 50
	A. Sage Default Costing. This is designed to match the profitability numbers from Sage.
	B. Sage Activity Costing. This is a mapping that is designed to provide a more accurate profit analysis, by using the activity from sage,to get more accurate costing information.

7. To setup the import program, so that it runs at night,
Use the Windows Task Scheduler, and create an entry to run during the night.
This task scheduler will call sir_nightly.bat which will regenerate the production.mdb

Optionally you can also provide a desktop shortcut to sir_nightly to allow the customer to control when the update occurs.

8. Access 2003 by default, will prompt if a batch file is trying to execute macros. You will need to enable this security setting
